So much for starting a blog. I've literally had no time lately. Last week I rolled my foot at the gym. This resulted in being confined to the sofa, taking tramadol for the pain. I was in no fit state to work for four days. Even if I could, my office is in the loft with a steep staircase which I couldn't climb up. I should have gone to the hospital, in fact I still may go. But as the pain eased after two days, and my mobility resumed after three days I thought it was ok. I haven't been back to the gym as my foot is still not right. I've been walking around the house. Sunday I went to Bristol Harbour Festival. Since then my foot has been playing up and the bruising has come out. Not good! Yesterday I drove for the first time on my own for a few days, its painful. I'm going to give it another few days and then take a trip to the Doctors or the hospital. It can only get better, right?
Also, I forgot to mention. Three weeks ago I gave my feet a "Babyfoot" treatment. This is a chemical treatment where you have to wear plastic socks for 45 minutes with some sort of chemicals that are supposed to give your feet baby soft skin. So, two weeks after the treatment your feet peel. And peel. And peel. It started just before my injury last week, so sitting with a bag of frozen corn on my flaky feet was pretty gross for most of my visitors and family for a few days. Now my feet are still peeling, and bruised... I don't think any doctor will want to touch them!
Anyway, enough about my feet!
This week I've been playing catch up with work I should have done last week. Starting with my Etsy orders, which a lot were due to be posted last Wednesday (and I would have gone to the post office after the gym!). So thankful to family members for taking the orders which were packaged to go... Monday I was able to get to my office and sort a lot out, visiting the post office in the afternoon as my mum had to drive me. Yesterday and today I am working on various client's work which ideally should have been done last week.
