Most of my prints are A4 size which is 297 x 210 millimetres. Most prints will fit standard certificate frames or 8x10 frames. If you need another size or are unsure, please message before placing your order.
Any print can be customised. Either add the custom order option to your print, or pop me an email or message with your details. A proof can be provided prior to printing if requested. Custom details are charged at £5 extra. Custom orders do take a couple days longer than normal turnaround times, especially during November & December. Please ensure you have enough time before you need it, if it is a gift!
Postage & Packaging
The P&P price you pay includes postage for the item, packaging for the item and any relevant stickers needed for your order. All unframed prints are supplied in a plastic sleeve and posted in a "Please Do Not Bend" card envelope. Framed prints are tissue wrapped and sent in a bubble envelope. Multiple orders may be sent in a box. All items have a return address label on in case they go missing in the post.
There is an option to add gift wrap and ribbon to your order. This option can be found in all sections, just add the option to your cart and pop a note with the order if more than one item has been ordered.
Prints are digitally printed on a satin, gloss or matte paper stock (depending on our suppliers). I don't always order from the same supplier due to prices/quantity required to replenish stock... so if you're ordering different prints, they may come on a different stock.
Frames are basic black or white frames with a plexiglass front to them. They are not real glass. This is for various reasons, 1) Safety. The Perspex fronted frames are suitable for children's rooms. 2) Breakages. Glass is easily broken, especially by the mailman! 3) it is cheaper to post as plexiglass is much lighter than real glass. I want to keep the costs as low as possible for you. The A4 frames are plain and have a hardboard back with a stand for standing on the side and hook for hanging.
Returns & Refunds
Customers have 7 days to cancel an order and a further 14 days to return an item. Any returns will be inspected and appropriate refunds given. Refunds will not be made on Postage. Buyers also have to pay their own return postage costs. Refunds will be on the item only, also providing it has been sent back in an unopened and unused condition. I am unable to refund any personalised items for obvious reasons. Please be 100% sure of your personalisation details.
I love reviews. Reviews with pictures are great too, as I love to see how you display my work in your homes. Nobody likes a bad review. If you are not happy with, or have a problem with your order, please contact me and I will do my best to fix it and make things right.
How long does it take?
Most projects I can estimate a timescale but each piece of work is different due to size, complexity of design/plan, information (or lack of) provided and whether you have a marketing/brand guide or it is something I can create from scratch for you. Time also depends on your own deadline and if you need something by a certain date. If you do, please tell me at the start of the project so I can make enough time to squeeze it in if it's urgent.
How much does it cost?
I will provide you with an estimated cost and timescale before I begin, however this could change and we will keep you up to date and advise of any extra time needed or any delays we encounter. Remember that each project will be different, have individual needs and will depend on the final product. I work on an hourly rate which clients are aware of from day one. Payment is due within 7 days of invoice. New clients, payment of 50% of the initial quote is required to begin work.
Can you organise printing for me?
Printing (if required) will be calculated on request, depending on what needs printing and how quickly you need it. I have a carefully selected group of printers I use and will know which company gives the best finish and most competitive price for each job. I can arrange for the products to be delivered direct to you or your business - final payment will be requested prior to sending your job to print.
What about the Finished Product?
For Creative work: Do you need a Printed or an Electronic file? Most clients know what sort of file type they need for the end product, however if you don't know I will be able to help you. Ensuring I know what you are going to use it for, I can suggest the correct type of file for you. If you want three different types of file - that's ok! Most people will not know what to do with an EPS or an ID file, for example. I can hang on to these for future use or supply to you on a disc for you to keep safe. Files will be kept on my hard drive for a minimum of one year.
If your product is electronic only, for example; website, web graphics, mail-shot, social media, press releases etc... it is pretty self explanatory and each project will have individual requirements (such as a website will Go Live; a press release will be emailed; a mailshot will be emailed and a report will be available...)
Depending on the project, an aftercare service is available. Obviously for all projects, the finished piece of work is yours. You can have the final file for your own use, organising print yourself etc.
If the project is a social media set up, or website design, I can offer a rolling contract for monthly support for your needs. Whether this is infographics for social media, help with planning, website maintenance or blogging, something can be tailored specific to you and your company.
Terms Of Business
As most designers and self-employed people, there needs to be standard business terms in place. You can read my standard terms of business prior to me starting any kind of work for you. These terms are fully negotiable, in writing, if you have any special requirements. Please read my file in more detail.
